Chia seed puddings are a great breastfeeding snack - they're easy to make, require minimal ingredients and can be eaten at any time of the day! Chia seeds are a rich source of calcium, fatty oils, fiber, protein, vitamins, and antioxidants. They definitely rate as a breastfeeding-friendly food!
This berry version is a bit unique - use fresh or frozen berries with our Strawberry Milk Drunk protein powder for an extra milk boost!
- 1 scoop Strawberry Milk Drunk
- 1 cup strawberries or blueberries
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1.5 - 2 cups dairyfree milk of choice
- heaping 1/3 cup chia seeds
Blend all ingredients except seeds in a blender until completely pureed. Pour into bowl and stir in seeds until well mixed. Place in refrigerator overnight. Will keep for 3-5 days. Top with more berries, granola, coconut and cacao nibs and enjoy!
